Visiting Tharandt – exploring outside and getting insights

Tharandt is not only home of the second eldest forestry faculty of this planet (founded in 1811), nowadays the small town also hosts the Professorship of Soil Resources and Land Use with its head Prof. Dr. Karsten Kalbitz and features an educational soil trail in the nearby forest – both were visited by the SC-66 course.
